Julie Gill – Owner/Mediator
Julie has extensive experience in negotiation, planning and relationship management in both a business/corporate environment and personal/family matters. Julie is by nature an innovative problem solver and uses this to her client’s advantage.
From a Business/Corporate perspective:
Julie is a results-oriented, strategic, customer focused senior financial professional with over 20 years of progressive experience with expertise in Business Intelligence, Risk Management, Relationship Management and Process Realignment. Impactful and influential, with a demonstrated ability to develop strong business partnerships, win line management’s trust and influence change while employing a collaborative style. Skilled communicator and leader with the reputation of being focused on employee engagement and inclusion and motivating team members to succeed in achieving and exceeding business goals.
From a Family Mediator/ Separation Coach perspective:
During Family transitions there are a great many issues to identify and possibly fight over within a family. Julie helps her clients to resolve their conflict and actively participate in making decisions and creating transition plans that save them time, money and stress.
She provides her clients with the opportunity to fairly, creatively and personally develop solutions that best meet their family’s unique situation and requirements in a comfortable environment.
As a mediator Julie found that clients were looking for solutions outside of the courtroom that weren’t necessarily covered by the mediation process or any single process. Often a combination of processes provides the greatest chance for a successful separation. As a separation coach Julie provides clients with an overview of their separation options, possible next steps and to connect them with local professionals.
Julie guides families through their negotiations in a manner that minimizes financial and emotional distress while promoting the ability of families to effectively communicate in the future.
Whether you need to create a parenting plan or separation agreement or need to modify an agreement, Julie can help.
Julie is a member of the Ontario Association for Family Mediation, Family Mediation Canada and the ADR Institute of Ontario. Julie has training in Family Mediation, Conflict Resolution, Negotiation and Restorative Justice. Julie is also a Volunteer mediator with Community Justice Alternatives of Durham where she mediates cases related to Victim/Offender as well as Community disputes.
